ABOUT Alexis
Alexis is an orthopaedic and pelvic health physiotherapist with a strong passion for movement and whole-body wellness.
She completed her Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in 2019, and in 2021, expanded her expertise with specialized training in pelvic health. Beyond her clinical education, Alexis has also completed yoga teacher training and her pilates instructor certification—skills she integrates into her physiotherapy practice to help clients move with strength, control, and confidence.
Her treatment philosophy is rooted in:
- Providing individualized one-on-one care
- Identifying the root cause of symptoms by addressing mobility, coordination, and strength restrictions
- Using a combination of manual therapy, education, and functional movement to optimize healing
- Delivering care that is holistic, supportive, and easy to understand
Alexis is excited to support her clients in reaching their goals, restoring balance, and building confidence
A Few of my favourite things
One of my favourite feelings is being cozy in my blankets at home watching rom coms and snuggling with my dog, Theo. I book my summer weekends with camping trips and try to get away and explore new places by the water as often as I can. I love to connect and eat delicious food with my family, friends and partner, Mitch.
I feel my best when I move everyday! I love feeling strong and learning a new movement skill. I honour my body through walking with Theo, running, yoga, pilates, hiking, stregnth training, and dancing.
I’d love to help you reduce your pain and your symptoms. See all the ways you can work with me.
